The Digital Divide
Recent data suggests that roughly 26 million Americans lacked access to a fixed broadband service (100/20 Mbps) in 2025.
The digital divide exists largely as a function of geography; 22.3% of rural Americans have no access to broadband vs 1.5% in urban areas due to a lack of infrastructure.
